Drama Ministry
The Word of God is given and received in various forms. The mission of the Drama Ministry is to minister to the Church through dramatic presentations.

College Ministry
This ministry is still in the organizational stage, and volunteers are encouraged to join. The purpose will be to minister to the needs of local college students from both Tuskegee University and Auburn University. We want to provide that “home away from home” church experience.

Media Ministry
This ministry’s goal is to fulfil the Great Commission in the 21st century using social media, audio and video to get the message out. Additionally, the media ministry is responsible for recording sermons and ministry events throughout the year in CD or DVD format.

Youth Ministry
In keeping with Proverbs 22:6, it is the mission of the Mt. Moriah Youth Ministry to nurture and train our youth according to the Word of God. We believe establishing and maturing in a relationship with Christ is the key to living life according to God’s will. Through relevant and applicable Bible study, fellowship, service to church and community, and trips, we mentor and train youth to prepare for a lifetime of Christian service and an ever-growing relationship with Christ.

Praise Dance Ministry
The Praise Dance Ministry is dedicated to praising the Lord through dance and expressing the joy of serving God in Spirit and in truth.

Sunday School Ministry
The Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Sunday School provides an excellent opportunity to expand the knowledge base of growing Christians. We believe that to build a strong relationship with Christ we must equip ourselves with more knowledge of Him. Sunday School accomplishes that by laying a solid foundation rooted in the Word of God. There is something for everyone as our classes are structured by gender for adults and by grade and age levels for children. Sunday School opens promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Ushers Ministry
The Ushers Ministry is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for all worshippers who come to Mt. Moriah. They kindly provide direction and attention to questions and concerns of worshippers. They are the doorkeepers and give the first impression of the personality of the Church.

Greeters Ministry
This ministry is still in the organizational stage, and volunteers are encouraged to join. The goal will be to express warmth and cordiality to all entering our church. We will accomplish this with hugs, handshakes, smiles, and a friendly welcome. Always remembering as it is written, “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers for thereby some have entertained angels unaware.”

Missionary Ministry
The goal of the Missionary Ministry is to promote the Great Commission of Jesus Christ through Bible study, service and support in the community. This ministry offers loving Christian fellowship with all members of the church and local community.

Scholarship Ministry
The mission of the Scholarship Ministry is to provide financial assistance to eligible college-bound students. The Ministry strives to offer a generous allowance to those entering their freshman year of higher education.

Culinary Ministry
The primary purpose of the Culinary Ministry is to offer love and support of the church by preparing a nourishing meal for special occasions or events when requested and approved by Pastor. The Culinary Ministry consists of members who volunteer their time and service to the church. The Ministry has sole responsibility for the set-up, serving and clean-up following the event.

Transportation Ministry
Our 25-passenger bus is used to transport members to worship or service events, make pickups throughout the community and to transport our youth on field trips.

Benevolence Ministry
The Benevolence Ministry assists the community by providing financial assistance to Mt. Moriah members, as well as individuals and families in the community, during times of hardship or crisis by temporarily assisting with basic needs by way of the established financial guidelines.
